YANA STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM
The YSAP program provides kids with opportunities to further their studies in the States and connects them to warm and nurturing families while studying abroad.
There are 3 different levels of support representing different types of family:
YANA Youth Host Families take on parental roles for middle and high school YANA students, becoming their legal guardians and opening their homes up to them.
YANA College Host Families commit to looking after college kids studying abroad for 6 months to a year. They offer a caring living environment, taking on the role of aunts and uncles.
For those who are unable to open up their homes, a donation can be used to assist the kids with living expenses, tuition, and school supplies.
No matter the time of year or where you end up in life, you are not alone.
I had no idea what kind of commitment
I was getting myself into in the beginning.
TAKE AN ACTION
BECOME A FAMILY !
Flying Happiness annually invites a selective group of kids and social workers from Dongmyung Children’s Home to the United States.
The project aims to become a family to the kids from Dongmyung Children’s Home by providing them with internships in the United States.
The project provides financial assistance to kids who are facing extreme circumstances after aging out of children’s homes.
A monthly donation of $30 is used to assist those who have aged-out of children’s homes with needed healthcare, education, and safety measures.
SMP centers around the week-long Vacational Bible School (VBS) held during the annual summer mission trip to Korea.
The program is designed to share the joy of Christmas season with the kids in Korea.
