Chasing Dream and Giving Back

Taehyeon, who transitioned to LaGuardia Community College from NYLC, has embarked on his journey to advance his studies in English as a second language in the United States since March 2023.

His aspirations from this one-year study program extended to the possibility of transferring to a university and securing an internship in the financial sector after graduation.

I grew up in a welfare home from 13 months old. Since graduating high school and leaving the welfare home, my dream has always been to become a CFA.

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to experience and study in the United States, the center of global finance, through YANA this year.

I will do my best to reach my dream by cherishing every opportunity. Like YANA, who reached out to me with generosity and support, I will be the person to offer a hand to those in need and walk toward the places where my talents are needed.
